Your Nutrition and Functional Medicine Expert: Meet Dr. Dave

For over 15 years, Dr. Dave practiced as a licensed primary-care physician (PCP) in Washington state who specialized in integrative medicine, functional medicine, and complementary & alternative medicine alongside conventional family medicine. After completing his hospital training, he worked as an NIH postdoctoral clinical research fellow at the University of Virginia School of Medicine studying the effects of Chinese herbs in patients with chronic hepatitis. 

In addition, Dr. Dave served on the medical advisory board for several medical nutrition companies, where he was involved in the research and development of evidence-based medical nutrition products and nutritional supplements for healthcare practitioners in the areas of cardiology, gastroenterology, and preventative medicine. He has lectured extensively to healthcare practitioners on the use of evidence-based nutritional supplements for conditions seen in everyday primary-care clinical practice. 

After leaving his medical practice, Dr. Dave founded JD Global Wellness Solutions, where he currently serves as the medical director. Having been a patient as well, he understands the importance of finding the right practitioner who is compassionate, listens, and is properly trained and experienced to take on your health concerns. He has seen tremendous health benefits of incorporating nutrition, lifestyle, integrative, and functional medicine therapies in both his patients and own personal health.
